This Italian company received the “Green Star” award from RINA (Italian Shipping Register) in 2005 for all 11 cruise ships in its fleet. The award means all Costa ships comply with the highest environmental protection standards for prevention of marine pollution—even stricter than the current international regulations (called MARPOL). Two of the ships received the “Green Star Design” award for their state-of-the-art eco-friendly design. In addition, Costa has teamed with environmental groups and also monitors the impact of climate change in the Mediterranean via equipment on board one of its ships.

HERE ARE SOME HELPFUL TRAVEL TIPS

burke pattersonTaking a trip soon? Maybe these tips can help.

  1. Leave your passport at home, on purpose! Avoid the hassles of customs and immigration lines by traveling to places in the U.S. or to islands where no U.S. passport is required for travel between the United States and the Island!
  2. Now airlines are requiring that we pay for our baggage. So try to pack light and take only what you need. Remember to pack your favorite bathing suit, pair of shorts and sandals.
  3. Pack all your liquids and gels in a one-quart sized plastic bag, all in 3 ounce containers or smaller. U.S. Federal regulations do not allow anything more than that onboard the airplane.
  4. Don’t forget to pack bug repellent for your adventure, especially if you’ll be visiting a rainforest.
  5. Book with a repretable travel agent. They have the inside track and if you book well enough in advance, you could possibly save a few bucks.
  6. Bring plenty of sunscreen if you’re planning to go to the beach or any outdoor attractions.
  7. Bring your favorite MP3 player and make sure to download some podcasts before leaving home. Just in case you have a long lay over or some other unexpected occurance. It should make the time go by faster.
  8. Take advantage of airlines’ online check-in to get you some extra sleep-in time before heading to the airport.
  9. Make sure to bring your credit cards, travelors checks or cash for all the shopping you’ll do on your vacation.
  10. Be sure to wear shoes that you can easily take off during the security checkpoints at the airport

Brooke Hogan was involved in a traffic accident this weekend. Luckily for her both she and her friend in the passengers seat were wearing their seatbelts. Some people say KARMA is a Bitch! What do you think? Story here BROOKE INVOLVED IN WRECKSOCIALITES LIFE

celebslamI just have to. If women have to cover up more areas as they get older, it is only fair that we ask men to do the same. It is just disgusting to think you can still get this off. Men who have sagging boobs and wrinkly skin and stomachs like pot bellied pigs should not walk around like this. It is not fair to the rest of us to have to endure such a tragic sight. Thats just nasty.

***Ne-Yo’s*** night out!

You know people I ran acrosss this photo and had to say something. Ne-yo is one of my favorite artist. So I’m gonna be kind here. I’m not even going to mention the face he’s making. Lets just assume she stinks. What? It’s a club! I don’t exactly know what was going on. Hey, it’s a party people are drinking and just having a good time. Maybe she’s a fan. Who knows. But Ne’yo you can afford to be a bit more selective. I’ve seen your babies mama. She’s a pretty girl. You can do better. And ladies I know time prevails. We get older and things don’t always stay the same. Some things go south. We have children and other things grow under the skin that aren’t really something we should go public with. Sometimes we need to cover up and wear more supportive gear. You know things that lift and seperate. Thats all I’m saying. Carry on.
